Panhandle-Plains Higher Education Authority (PPHEA) is governed by a board consisting of eleven directors. All Directors are appointed by the governing body of the City of Hereford, Texas, upon nomination by PPHEA. The governing body may also remove directors of PPHEA. Directors serve two-year staggered terms of office. The members of the Board serve without compensation, except for the reimbursement of expenses incurred in connection with the business of PPHEA.
